Welcome to NoBookEnds ("NBE", "we", "our", or "us"). NoBookEnds is a community for discovering books near you and passing on the ones you've finished. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. Who can use NoBookEnds

You must be at least 13 years old to use NoBookEnds. By using the app you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you'll keep your account details secure.

2. Sharing books, not selling them

NoBookEnds is for passing books on to other readers — a gift, not a sale or a loan. You agree not to use the app to sell, rent, or trade books for payment. You're responsible for the books you list and for arranging safe, respectful hand-overs with other members.

3. Community standards — zero tolerance for abuse

NoBookEnds has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You agree not to post, share, or send content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable, and not to harass, abuse, impersonate, or harm other members.

You can report any content or member from within the app, and you can block any member so you no longer see their content or receive their messages. We review every report and may remove content or suspend or remove accounts that break these standards. There is no obligation on us to host content that violates these Terms.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post (your profile, book notes, comments, and messages). By posting, you give us permission to display it within the app so the community works — for example, showing your public shelf and username to other members nearby.

5. The service is provided "as is"

We work hard to keep NoBookEnds running well, but we provide it "as is" without warranties. NoBookEnds is not a party to any exchange between members and is not responsible for the condition of books, the conduct of members, or any meeting arranged through the app. Please use common sense and meet safely.

6. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from within the app, which removes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these Terms.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes we'll let you know in the app, and the "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
